One of Two Last American Veterans of World War I. Died

Harry Richard Landis, one of two last American veterans of World War I. died in the age of 108 on Monday. He was entered the forces in 1918 at the age of 18. Before his death, he lived at Sun City Center nursing home. He had fever and low blood pressure. But according to his caregiver otherwise was this man healthy. He didn't take any medication except vitamins and eye drops. A death of this man was unexpected. In an interview from his Sun City Center apartment in April he mentioned that his training in Student Army Training corps had involved a lot of marching and that they had drilled every morning. Very often they wore their own street clothes. The uniforms they had got only a short time before the end of the war came. Landis wanted to sign up also to the World War II. in 1941. But in the age of 42 he was too old and was rejected. Landis never leaved The United states. He was trained as a U.S. Army recruit for 60 days before war ending. Anyway he was counted among 4.7 million women and men militant for U. S. Army. The last living U. S. veteran's name is Frank Buckles. He is nearly as old as Harry R. Landis. Frank Buckles is 107 years old. He lives in Charles Town. The last known Canadian veteran, served in Canadian army, in World war I. is John Babcock. He is 107 years old. Another World war I. vet lived in Germany. His name was Erich Kaestner and died on New Years' Day at the age of 107.

Sama som bola v Amerike a viem kolko si clovek moze kupit za 15 dolarov.Balicek cigariet,pivo,nejaku zmrzlinu a nejake pekne tricko.A co si mozes kupit za 1 euro?hmm..pozrime sa kolko toho clovek za jedno euro dostane.Nedostames skoro nic.Mozes si kupit flasu vody alebo noviny.Ani na jednosmerny listok metrom to nestaci. Tak preco nenasadnut na lietadlo do New Yorku na weekend,alebo aj na tyzden-za kulturou,na dobru veceru,par drinkov na Manhattane,nakupovat od 8ej rana do 8ej vecer a to vsetko za polovicnu cenu.Ked Europa je taka draha.

Vo svete stale prebiehaju spory o ekonomii, politike alebo zivotnom prostredi. Kazdy stat ma nejake problemy a vlada ich musi riesit. Taliansko sa kvoli politickej krizi prave do takejto neprijemnej a nelahkej situacii dostalo. Prezident Giorgio Napolitano rozpustil parlament a tymto krokom vytvoril volnu cestu pre predcasne volby. Tieto volby sa uskutocnia len dva roky po ostatnych riadnych parlamentnych volbach, cize viac ako tri roky pred koncom parlamentneho 5-rocneho obdobia. Je to sposob, ktorym taliani mozu vratit konzervativneho Silvio Berlusconi spat k moci. Je to taliansky byvaly premier, ktoreho miesto nahradil sucasny premier Romano Prodi. Prezident musel urobit toto rozhodnutie kvoli padu vlady ľavého stredu premiéra Prodiho minuly mesiac a jeho usilie zmenit tuto situaciu skoncilo fiaskom. Prodi neziskal dostatocny pocet hlasov (161 senatorov bolo proti a 156 za) a tak podal prezidentovi rezignaciu. Podla dennika Corriere della Sera, Prodiho popularita stale klesa. V januari 2007 bola 41%, ale v decembri 2007 uz len 25%. Taliansky premier sa rozhodol nekandidovat v prichadzajucich volbach, ale bude podporovat Demokraticku stranu na cele s Walterom Veltronom a jeho politickym programom. Volby sa musia uskutocnit do 70tich dni po rozpusteni zakonodarneho organu. Kabinet stanovil ako termin predcasnych parlamentnych volieb 13. a 14. april 2008. Prodiho vlada padla 24. januara. Bola to druha najkratsia a siedma najuspesnejsia vlada co sa tyka prezitia v talianskej povojnovej historii, s Prodim na cele iba 20 mesiacov.

Exhausted

I'm exhausted. And I'm not even running for president. I'm exhausted just because of hearing all that campaign news and stuff. And I really regret all those brave and strong candidates as they have to defense themselves just for being themselves. Aren't you little too old? Do you think everyhing's allright when it comes to your religion? My dear, what about the drugs in your youth? And you, do you really wanna live in White House once again? Every single word they have said in their entire life can be used like a weapon that shoot them down to their knees and spoil their hopes to be president once and for all. So, children, be very careful of what you're saying. You just never know whether it will bury your later career. I'm exhausted. And I'm not even flying all over the U.S. trying to persuade the important people (the ordinary people are yet waiting for their chance to be important) that I'm the best. And I really admire all those candidates as they have to speak about economics, health care, insurance, military, war, protection of environment, national security, international affairs and all other important issues and be both intransigent and a co-operative in the same minute. Smiling, crying, emotions, racio, arguments, waving to the crowd, balloons, banners. I'm exhausted. I'm exhausted of listening how much all those caring people spent on their campaigns and rallies. Who attracted more attractive celebrity, whose musician wrote better supporting song? Whose speech is more unforgettable? Who will be the one? Aren't they exhausted doing all of that and flying here, there, everywhere? I guess I'll take a break.

SigEx Foundry Project Synopsis

The international company named SigEx, one of the spreading ones, is providing digital streaming and social network technologies.
